Jacob "Jake" Benscoter
Jacob "Jake" Benscoter, is President
and Chief Trchnology Officer (CTO) of Consolidated Air Support Systems, LLC (CASS)
Jake has over twenty-six years of Inflight Refueling
experience having retired from the USAF as a Senior-Master Sergeant.
He has over 6,000 flying hours in the KC-135A and the KC-10A. He upgraded to Instructor Boom Operator
to become one of the youngest IBO's in the entire USAF. He held almost every position available to a Boom Operator,
including Training Flight, Standardization/Evaluation, Current Operations, Chief Boom Operator and Senior Enlisted
Air Crew Advisor to the Squadron Commander. He was also selected as the First KC-10 Boom Operator to be assigned
to 15 AF Headquarters in Tanker Operations and Scheduling. When portions of SAC and MAC were combined, he was selected
to be the first Tanker personnel to be assigned to the Airlift Control Element (ALCE), converting into Tanker/Airlift Control Element (TALCE).
He then spent his last 4 years on active duty as the KC-10A Inflight Refueling Functional
Manager, where he was responsible for the oversight of all KC-10 Boom Operators in Air
After his retirement from the USAF in 1997, he spent 11 years
working as a Senior Technical Analyst for a world-wide consumer product company, where he was the assistant to 3 internal Help Desk Managers.
He then moved to Desktop Support providing support to the President of their International Division and all of the International Remote Sales Offices. While working full time, Jake completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and Computer Information Systems from Park University graduating Cum Laude.
Jake joined CASS in 2004 working part-time until his retirement in
2008 from the consumer product company. Jake has filled several positions within CASS
including as the Project Manager for our contract with Airbus Defense and Space, and then as Vice-President of both ADSI
and CPS before moving to his present position as President of CASS, LLC.
Jake participates in the Air Refueling Systems Advisory
Group (ARSAG), as the Co-Chair of Workgroup 5, Air Refueling Clearances Process &
Procedures and as Co-Chair of Training Panel with the Commander of the 54 AREFS at Altus AFB, and is a member of
the DoD Joint Standardization Board. Jake is also a member of the Airlift/Tanker Association
He is the webmaster for the CASS web site.
